Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey was on the receiving end of a painful exchange during a CONCACAF Champions League second-leg fixture against Club America.
Dempsey received a face-full of cleat from Club America captain Rubens Sambuenza, drawing blood and forcing the U.S. international to the sidelines for some treatment.
