Report: Orlando City finalising trade for Toronto FC 'keeper Joe Bendik

Orlando City's goalkeeping spot will reportedly be filled by Toronto FC net-minder Joe Bendik, according to Paul Tenorio of the Orlando Sentinel.

Orlando is looking to shore up its goalkeeping ranks, with Earl Edwards Jr. the only other option on the team.

The two teams are reportedly orchestrating a trade deal for Bendik, who came under fire last season from fans for his performances and, as a result, shared playing time and responsibility in net with Chris Konopka.

The Lions are in the window for a new shot-stopper after declining the option of preferred starter Tally Hall at the end of the 2015 season. Hall, a favourite among the Orlando faithful, suffered two knee injuries last season, including one at the end of the year.
