Report: No MLS interest for Terry
Well, that didn't take very long.
An hour after John Terry formally announced that he would be ending his two-decade senior Chelsea tenure, a report has surfaced claiming that there is no interest from any MLS sides to acquire the 36-year-old centre-back.

This news comes as little surprise when chatter about a potential Chelsea exit last summer was reportedly met with no MLS interest as clubs in the North American top flight were unwilling to meet the former England international's salary demands.
Nearly a year on, and it appears to be more of the same despite Terry's insistence that he would like to continue playing, with ESPN FC's Jeff Carlisle reporting that a move for the defender is not consistent with the league's move away from 30-something Designated Players.
If that's the case, then what are Terry's options?
Last year, Terry was linked with a move to China's nouveau riche top flight, with former managers Luiz Felipe Scolari and Sven-Goran Eriksson and former Blues buddies Oscar and Ramires all plying their trades there.
If the opulence of the Far East doesn't appeal to the Barking-born tough tackler, West Brom boss Tony Pulis has previously admitted an interest in signing the player. That speculation heightened Monday when reputable English sports presenter Jacqui Oatley tweeted that she had insider information that Terry would make the Hawthorns switch. Bournemouth could also be an option after a January loan swap fell through.
