Watch: Lletget opens scoring for U.S. in crucial tilt against Honduras

"Da Boy" got "da goal."

Sebastian Lletget relieved much of the pressure on the U.S. men's national team in a crucial World Cup qualifying match against Honduras on Friday, scoring a go-ahead goal five minutes into the match to give the last-placed Americans renewed hope in the CONCACAF hex.

The California native scored his first goal for the U.S. in fortuitous fashion, finishing off a sweet move crafted by Jozy Altidore and Christian Pulisic. While his was simply a tap-in effort, they count all the same in the end.

Unfortunately for Lletget, that was as good as it got, as he picked up an injury just minutes later and was replaced by Alejandro Bedoya.
