FC Dallas acquires Norberto Paparatto

FC Dallas announced Tuesday the acquisition of Argentine central defender Norberto Paparatto.

FC Dallas picked up Paparatto's right of first refusal in a trade with the Portland Timbers in exchange for targeted allocation money.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Paparatto played with the Portland Timbers in 2014 and 2015, logging 1500 minutes. He makes the switch to FC Dallas after spending time in Argentina with Atletico de Rafaela, where he made five appearances in the Argentine first division.
