Montreal Impact star Piatti named MLS Player of the Week

Montreal Impact attacking midfielder Ignacio Piatti has been named MLS Player of the Week for the tenth round of action in the 2016 season, following his scintillating performance against the Columbus Crew at MAPFRE Stadium over the weekend.
The Argentine ace scored a pair of goals and drew a third from a spot kick as the Impact came from behind to record a 4-4 draw on Saturday, including this stunning equalizer in the 26th minute:
Despite Piatti dominating in the early goings of the season, this round of action marks his first Player of the Week nod, a well-deserved accolade for the man who thus far leads his team with six goals to go along with his two assists.
