Jermaine Jones had himself something of a tumultuous offseason, released from the New England Revolution and left to the vultures as he was. However, he's landed on his feet with the Colorado Rapids, and repaid the organization for their kindness with a debut goal against the New York Red Bulls.
Jones found the back of the net at the 21-minute mark, burying the orange ball past goalkeeper Luis Robles to open the scoring on a snowy day at Dick's Sporting Goods Park
The U.S. international was in the right place at the right time, scoring his goal off a low driven cross into the box.
