Analysis:
After serving as the Giants' DH to this point in spring training to reduce wear and tear on his sore left shoulder, he debuted in center on Wednesday and proceeded to jam his right shoulder trying to make a play. He left the game shortly thereafter and team doctors will take a look at it Thursday. Span underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip in September.
