"The Cuban Missle" was lacking his customary fire power in his first spring outing as a member of the New York Yankees on Thursday.

Aroldis Chapman debuted for his new club against the Toronto Blue Jays to begin the fifth inning, following Andrew Miller and Dellin Betances. However, he struggled through his 2/3 innings of work.

The 28-year-old threw 26 pitches, striking out one, while hitting Ryan Goins and Jose Bautista with pitches. He also allowed an earned run and two walks. His fastball topped out at 99 miles-per-hour.

Chapman accepted a 30-game ban - which doesn't include spring outings - issued to him by Major League Baseball on Mar. 1 after firing eight gunshots and allegedly choked his girlfriend in October in the garage of his Miami residence.

He was traded from the Cincinnati Reds to the Yankees in exchange for four prospects in December, after earning 146 saves and 546 strikeouts in 319 innings of work for the Reds across six seasons.
