Cedeno is likely to see some action in the eighth inning as the bullpen's new top lefty following the Jake McGee trade, according to Mark Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.

Analysis:

On almost any other team, Cedeno would have been his team's top lefty last year, at least going by performance. After five forgettable appearances in Washington, Cedeno was traded to the Rays and promptly started dominating, registering a 2.09 ERA in 43.0 innings while striking out a batter per inning. Alex Colome is still best positioned to be Kevin Cash's formal set-up man, but Tampa Bay's liberal usage of its bullpen means Cedeno should see quite a few opportunities.
