The Los Angeles Angels have avoided hearings with all their arbitration-eligible players after reportedly agreeing to terms Tuesday with outfielder Kole Calhoun on a $3.4-million deal for the 2016 campaign, according to MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez.

Calhoun, who was granted early arbitration as a Super Two player, filed at $3.9 million after hitting .256/.308/.422 (104 OPS+) with 26 home runs and 3.8 WAR over 159 games in 2015. Though the Angels filed at $2.35 million, the two were able to reach an agreement with only a few days to go before hearings begin.

Since becoming Los Angeles' primary right fielder two seasons ago, the 28-year-old has compiled more WAR (7.6) than every Angels player except Mike Trout, hitting .263/.316/.435 (112 OPS+) with 43 homers and 54 doubles in 286 games.

This past year, Calhoun earned his first career Gold Glove award after leading all qualified AL right fielders with six defensive runs saved.
