The 27-year-old lefty edged out David Price for the award on the strength of a 20-8 record, 2.48 ERA and 1.02 WHIP over 232 innings. Keuchel improved his strikeout rate from 2014 by more than five percent, while also trimming his walk rate slightly and maintaining a groundball rate over 60 percent. In fact, he led AL qualifiers in groundball rate for a second straight season (61.7%).
