VIDEO: Granderson robs Coghlan of HR at the wall
After Daniel Murphy's two-run homer gave the New York Mets a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first, the Chicago Cubs were hoping to respond quickly.
It looked like Chris Coghlan put just enough power on a fly ball to right in the second, but Curtis Granderson had other ideas.

"A combination of things helped make that catch the way it was," Granderson explained postgame. "One, you've got a team over there with the Cubs that drives the ball and hits the ball out of the ballpark, so I've got to play deeper. We've got Noah (Syndergaard), who is a power pitcher. And obviously, you add that combination, so the guys are going to hit the ball very far. So I'm playing back to start at the beginning. Coghlan hits the ball and I didn't have to go too far, because the fence was there. I was able to time it up and reel it in."
The Mets would go on to win 4-1 and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
