Yoenis Cespedes continues to thrive under the spotlight of New York.

The Cuban slugger stayed hot in Game 3 of the National League Division Series, sending the sold-out crowd at Citi Field into a frenzy with a mammoth three-run homer in the fourth inning to give the Mets a commanding 10-3 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 431-foot blast off Dodgers lefty Alex Wood was Cespedes' second of the series and third hit of the night. He's the first Mets player to hit homers in consecutive postseason games since John Olerud in 1999.

Cespedes' big hit capped an offensive onslaught from the Mets that included a two-run double from Curtis Granderson and a two-run homer from Travis d'Arnaud. The 10-run eruption staked Matt Harvey to a comfortable lead in his five-inning, 97-pitch playoff debut.

Acquired from Detroit at the trade deadline, Cespedes has been on fire since arriving in Queens, batting .287/.337/.604 with 17 homers in 57 regular-season games for the Mets.

"To me, (the postseason is) a normal game," Cespedes told the New York Post prior to the playoffs. "It's just more fans. More people involved during the playoffs. But for the most part, it's just a regular game for me. I have a lot of experience, because when I was playing in Cuba for eight years, I was in the playoffs for six out of the eight."
