Hanigan has been nursing a sore right hand for the past two weeks, but interim manager Torey Lovullo indicated that he expects the 35-year-old to return this season. At this point it will need to come over the weekend in one of the final two games, as Blake Swihart will draw another start behind the plate and bat eighth.
