VIDEO: Rays hand White Sox walk-off win with 10th-inning bases-loaded walk
Things didn't pan out the way the Tampa Bay Rays were hoping in extra innings against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday.
With the bases loaded during the 10th inning of a 5-5 contest at U.S. Cellular Field, Rays closer Brad Boxberger walked Avisail Garcia, bringing Adam Eaton home and handing Chicago its 51st win of the season.
"I was trying to be relaxed, focused, looking for a good pitch," said Garcia to Scott Merkin of MLB.com. "Don't try to do too much because it's one out, the bases loaded. I just tried to be focused and be patient."

Before the walk to Garcia, the Rays chose to load the bases by intentionally walking both Jose Abreu and Melky Cabrera.
Following the loss, Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash said that intentionally walking Abreu and Cabrera was definitely the right move and he'd do it again, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Boxberger, however, didn't agree with the decision.
Tampa walked six batters on the day with three coming courtesy of Boxberger.
Prior to the contest, Boxberger had walked 21 hitters in 43 2/3 innings pitched.
On the positive side for the Rays, third baseman Evan Longoria was a triple shy of the cycle, while shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera had a fantastic day at the plate going 4-for-5 with a double before leaving the game after a ball hit the side of his head. Cabrera suffered a minor contusion and is fine, Topkin reports.
Garcia had four RBIs for Chicago, which included his ninth home run of the season.
