Jason Castro's second career walk-off homer could go a long way in deciding who prevails out of the American League West.

The Houston Astros catcher broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the ninth inning with a three-run walk-off home run to complete a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night.

The Angels held a one-game advantage over the Astros in the AL West standings prior to the series opener Tuesday, and now Houston leads the division by two games heading into a weekend series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow added to the excitement of the dramatic win by acquiring outfielder Carlos Gomez and righty Mike Fiers from the Milwaukee Brewers earlier in the evening, further bolstering his roster for the stretch run.
