The Minnesota Twins have landed some bullpen help.
General manager Terry Ryan acquired reliever Kevin Jepsen from the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for minor league right-handers Alexis Tapia and Chih-Wei Hu.
The 31-year-old right-hander has posted a 2.70 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across 106 2/3 innings over the past two seasons while striking out 109 batters.
Jepsen is under control through next season and will likely slide into a set-up role in front of closer Glen Perkins.
