VIDEO: Yankees' McCann sinks Rays with walkoff blast in 12th inning

In the bottom of the eighth inning at Yankee Stadium on Friday night, his team trailing 3-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays, veteran slugger Mark Teixeira erased the New York Yankees' deficit with a mammoth blast over the fence in right field.

Several hours later, Brian McCann also sent a three-run shot into the right-field bleachers to quash a late deficit. His home run in the bottom of the 12th inning, however, also sent everybody home.

McCann's 13th homer of the campaign - his fourth walkoff home run in 1,311 MLB games - afforded the Yankees an 7-5 victory while sending the Rays to their fifth consecutive loss.
