Mujica isn't expected to resume throwing for another week after the stitches come out, which will prevent him from returning from the DL immediately when eligible June 6. However, it doesn't sound like his recovery timeline will be delayed enough to necessitate a rehab assignment. Mujica will probably only need to toss a couple bullpen sessions and live batting practice before receiving clearance to return to the bullpen.
