Astros' Feldman to miss 6 weeks following knee surgery

The Houston Astros placed Scott Feldman on the 15-day disabled list Friday after the right-hander underwent surgery on his right knee.

Feldman is expected to miss about six weeks after having a torn medial meniscus repaired.

The 32-year-old is 4-4 with a 4.80 ERA through 10 starts this season to go with 37 strikeouts and a 1.36 WHIP in 60 innings.

Houston recalled 21-year-old right-hander Michael Feliz from Double-A Corpus Christi in a corresponding move.

Feliz is 1-1 with a 4.17 ERA and 40 strikeouts across 36 2/3 innings between Single and Double-A this season.
