Analysis:

Cabrera has at least seen the field as a pinch-hitter recently, so he probably has a better chance of making it into the lineup than Steven Souza, who was injured at the same time as him. When Cabrera returns, he'll supplant Tim Beckham and Nick Franklin at shortstop, which could mean Beckham returns to the minors.
