Analysis:

Pomeranz resumed playing catch Monday, and will quickly progress to throwing on a mound. It seems unlikely that he'll be available when first eligible to come off the 15-day DL. However, he will likely throw a couple bullpen sessions soon and barring a setback, he could head out on a rehab assignment after that.
