National League Game Summary - Milwaukee at Atlanta

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Braun hit a two-run home run and drove in four as the Milwaukee Brewers dominated the Atlanta Braves, 11-0, in the second of a four-game set.

Khris Davis drove in two runs while Carlos Gomez had an RBI and scored twice for the Brewers, who had lost their previous two.

Wily Peralta started on the mound for Milwaukee, but left after four scoreless innings with tightness in his left side. Michael Blazek (4-1) allowed just one hit over three innings of relief to pick up the win.

Eric Stults (1-5) was tagged for seven runs on three hits with five walks in just 3 2/3 innings for the Braves, who had won five of six coming in.

Stults started the game because scheduled starter Alex Wood was scratched with a stomach virus.

Milwaukee got the only runs it needed in the first as Gomez walked and Braun hit his 11th homer of the year for a 2-0 lead.

"I feel good. Working on my mechanics. Just mechanically getting back to a good place," Braun said.

In the fourth, the Brewers blew the game open with seven runs. With the bases loaded and two outs, Peralta walked to force in a run and Luis Sardinas followed with an RBI single.

"I thought the point of the game was we walked the pitcher with the bases loaded with two outs," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said.

After Trevor Cahill took the mound, Gomez singled home a run and a ground-rule double from Davis brought in two more. Braun followed with a two-run double for a 9-0 lead.

A run-scoring double play from Kyle Lohse in the fifth made it a 10-0 contest, and Michael Blazek doubled home another run in the seventh.

Atlanta got a runner to third in the first inning and that was as close as the team came to scoring a run.
