Analysis:

Dyson will benefit from the absence of Lorenzo Cain, who will begin serving a two-game suspension Sunday. Opportunity knocked earlier this year for Dyson when Alex Rios (hand) was placed on the disabled list, but Ned Yost has essentially awarded the job in right to Paulo Orlando, who will make his 16th start of the year in the afternoon contest. Dyson does have a hit in three straight games, however, including a 3-for-4 effort in the first game of the series.
