The Royals made the rotation switch Friday night, moving Guthrie up to Sunday and pushing Jason Vargas back to Tuesday's series opener against the Indians. For owners of Guthrie in deeper and AL-only formats, the move to face a potent Tigers lineup is clearly an undesirable switch. He has yet to face Detroit this season, but had a 7.71 ERA over four starts in 2014. He made it through just 18.2 innings in those outings.
