Colorado Rockies right-hander Eddie Butler owes third baseman Nolan Arenado a beer for his efforts Friday night against the San Francisco Giants.
Frankly, he probably owes him two.
Arenado, who claimed a Gold Glove Award in each of the past two seasons, showed off his amazing range and superlative arm strength in Friday's series opener at Coors Field with an absurd double play in the top of the fourth inning.

It's unsettling, honestly, to consider how porous Colorado's defense would be without Arenado, as the club's .694 defensive efficiency rating ranks fifth-worst in the major leagues.
