Analysis:

Manager Bruce Bochy said he has liked Maxwell's at-bats and with two lefties slated to pitch against the Giants on Saturday and Sunday the matchups are also in Maxwell's favor. He has always had decent power and speed, but his lack of a strong hit tool has prevented Maxwell for sticking with one organization for very long. However, Maxwell will find playing time difficult to come by once Hunter Pence returns sometime in May.
