Analysis:
Escobar injured his knee in a collision with Athletics' third baseman Bret Lawrie on Friday, forcing him to miss each of the final two weekend contests. His status for Monday's game will be made known when the lineup comes out, if not before then, but at least he seems close to a return at this point.
