Matt Carpenter has apparently been watching little-league highlights in his spare time.
The St. Louis Cardinals third baseman showcased his athleticism Friday night, leaping over Cincinnati Reds catcher Brayan Pena to score on a sacrifice fly in the first inning.

Carpenter continues to pace the Cardinals offensively, entering play Friday hitting .364 with seven RBIs.
