Brett Gardner: (Wrist) Out Of Lineup Friday

Gardner (wrist) is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays, Newsday's Erik Boland reports.

Analysis:

The Yankees were hoping to have Gardner back in the lineup Friday, but the speedy outfielder's bone bruise apparently needs at least one more day to heal. Chris Young will get another start in left field, with Chase Headley moving up to the second spot in the lineup. Gardner is still day-to-day.
