Johnson is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Johnson has now started just one of Chicago's three games against left-handed pitching, as he'll give way to Emilio Bonifacio on Friday for a matchup with Tigers ace David Price. While he's still the White Sox's primary second baseman, Johnson has only been in the lineup for six of the team's first nine games, and he still doesn't have a run, RBI, or stolen base.
