MLB Game Summary - Oakland at LA Angels

Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Mark Canha hit a three-run homer, and Luke Carlin homered and drove in a pair as the Athletics outslugged the Angels 13-10 on Tuesday.

The A's pounded out 18 hits to offset a poor start from Barry Zito, who surrendered three home runs in the third inning and was charged with seven runs over four frames.

David Freese, Collin Cowgill and Kole Calhoun all homered off Zito, while Josh Rutledge drove in three runs in a losing cause.

Jose Alvarez started for the Angels and tossed two scoreless frames. Huston Street and Joe Smith each allowed four runs in limited work.
