Kang, who delivered an RBI single in his previous at-bat, belted a 2-0 pitch from Michael Kohn over the left-field wall with one out in the ninth to snap a 2-2 tie.

The loss spoiled a strong outing from Braves starter Shelby Miller, who yielded one run and just a single hit while fanning four over six sharp innings.

Chris Johnson collected two of Atlanta's three hits, including a solo homer in the fifth inning.
