Cole Hamels: Named Opening Day Starter

Hamels has officially been named the Phillies' Opening Day starter, Ryan Lawrence of Philadelphia Daily News reports.

Analysis:

It should come as a surprise to nobody that Hamels will take the hill on Opening Day. He will be followed by Aaron Harang, but will slot in as the Phillies' ace for 2015. It's quite possible he will be moved at some point this season, but it looks as though he will begin the campaign in Philadelphia.
