MLB Game Summary - Miami at Detroit
Lakeland, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Bryan Holaday's grand slam capped a six-run sixth inning that carried the Detroit Tigers to an 8-4 Grapefruit League win over the Miami Marlins.
Jordan Lennerton added three RBI on a double and single for Detroit, with Holaday also finishing with a pair of hits on the afternoon.
The Tigers broke out in the sixth after being shut out through the first five innings by Marlins starter David Phelps, who held Detroit to just two hits and a pair of walks.
Sam Dyson was then rocked for six runs and six hits after relieving Phelps in the sixth.
Donovan Solano went 3-for-5 with a solo homer to pace Miami offensively.
