Most likely, he'll head back to Triple-A to begin the year, but Ray is competing with Chase Anderson, Allen Webster, Rubby De La Rosa, and Vidal Nuno, among others, while the team's top prospects and a couple of injured starters will all join the mix at some point this season. Considering that he's still just 23 years old and that he still has minor league options remaining, Ray is a reasonably good bet to get bumped down as organizational depth to begin the year.
