Sabathia (knee) will wear a knee brace this season, Wallace Matthews of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
Sabathia is coming off of season-ending knee surgery last July, and while he's stated that it is no longer causing any pain, he'll wear the brace as a precautionary measure. The lefty has thrown three bullpen sessions in spring training thus far without any setbacks, and both he and pitching coach Larry Rothschild have reported positive progress for the 34-year-old.
