Lucas Duda: Intercostal Injury Thought To Be Minor

Mets manager Terry Collins said he is not worried about the injury to Duda's left intercostal muscle, NJ.com reports. "I don't foresee it being a big issue," Collins said of Duda's injury. "Should be ready in a couple days or so."

Analysis:

Duda has not swung a bat for couple of weeks, but the Mets hope he will be able to do so by the end of this week. The current plan merely calls for Duda to rest for the next few days.
