Report: Mariners sign Endy Chavez to minor league contract

The Seattle Mariners have signed outfielder Endy Chavez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training, reports Bob Dutton of The News Tribune.
The 36-year-old hit .276 with two home runs and 23 RBIs in 80 games.
This is the third consecutive season Chavez has signed a minor league pact with the Mariners.
