Infielder Marwin Gonzalez and Astros agree at $1,062,500.

HOUSTON (AP) Infielder Marwin Gonzalez and the Houston Astros have agreed to a one-year contract for $1,062,500.

The 25-year-old hit .277 with six homers and 23 RBIS in 285 at-bats last year, when he made $504,500. He had asked for $1.4 million in arbitration and had been offered $900,000.

Gonzalez's agreement was announced Friday. Houston agreed to contracts with all its arbitration-eligible players.
