Jones agreed to a one-year, $660,000 contract with the White Sox on Thursday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Jones entered 2014 as one of the top candidates to close out games for the White Sox, but various issues including hip, back and elbow sent him to the disabled list, and he wound up undergoing Tommy John surgery in late July. He will miss a good portion if not all of 2015.
