Vladimir Guerrero's major-league career spanned 16 remarkable seasons, wherein the gifted outfielder cemented his status as one of the most uniquely talented hitters to ever play the game.

And it appears his skills are hereditary.

According to Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com, several teams have already shown serious interest in Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who could be the most highly coveted international amateur when he becomes eligible to sign with an MLB club July 2. The Los Angeles Angels, New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays are among the clubs with interest in Guerrero, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound outfielder with talents that evoke comparisons to his decorated father.

"To me, God has given him double the talent that his father had," said Wilton Lopez, the youngster's trainer. "He also grew up watching the game and he's mature for his age. I really hope he can develop and do what he has to do. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the big leagues at 19 or 20. He's going to be that good."

The young outfielder has impressed scouts with his power and size, and Guerrero Jr. is expected to command a substantial signing bonus this summer.
