Analysis:

Profar could get a chance to compete for a roster spot during spring training, but it's unclear when he will be ready for his spring debut, and the Rangers want him to get in regular at-bats after sitting out all of last season. With both Elvis Andrus and Rougned Odor on the big league roster, Profar's best chance of doing that will come at the Triple-A level.
