John Mayberry Jr. is set to join his third organization in four months.

The right-handed hitting outfielder agreed to a one-year, $1.45M deal with the New York Mets on Thursday, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.

Mayberry spent the last six seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies but was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in late August for minor-leaguer Gustavo Pierre. In 78 games in 2014, he slashed .212/.310/.425 with seven home runs and 23 RBIs.

The 30-year-old has 515 major-league games under his belt and owns a career .241/.305/.429 line with 53 home runs. He's projected to be the Mets' fourth outfielder.
