Texas Rangers prospect Ronald Guzman was involved in a fatal car accident in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday that killed another driver, Kelsie Heneghan of MiLB.com reports.
Guzman was behind the wheel of a Ford Explorer that crashed with a motorcycle, killing 27-year-old Eleazar Garcia, according to police.
The 20-year-old Guzman, who is the 17th-ranked prospect in the team's farm system, could face charges for the incident.
The accident occurred less than a month after St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras was tragically killed in a car accident in the Dominican.
