Analysis:
Molina, 39, was so atrocious with the bat last season (.417 OPS) that it easily negated his value as a pitch framer and defender behind the plate. The Rays will still have 10 days to try to find a trade partner for Molina, but if nothing materializes, they will be forced to eat his entire $2.75 million salary for 2015.
