Former Mets hitting coach Dave Hudgens hired by Astros

Friday has been a busy day for the Houston Astros.
The Astros made number of changes to their coaching staff, highlighted by the hiring of Dave Hudgens as hitting coach.
Hudgens was in his fourth year as the New York Mets' hitting coach this season when the club fired him in May.
The Astros also announced the hiring of Trey Hillman as bench coach, and retained both Brent Storm (pitching coach) and Craig Bjornson (bullpen coach).
The flurry of coaching changes comes just weeks after the Astros hired A.J. Hinch to be their new manager.
