Ryan Braun: Feels Good While Swinging Bat Sunday

Braun swung a bat Sunday and said it "felt pretty good," the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports.

Analysis:

This was the first time he has taken swings since his thumb surgery, and he will take more swings later this week. He is fully expected to be ready for the start of spring training, and hopefully the surgery will allow him to be 100 percent for much of 2015, after the thumb bothered him throughout 2014.
