Walker will pitch in the Arizona Fall League, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

Shoulder issues limited Walker throughout much of the first half, resulting in the 22-year-old throwing just 110.1 innings between the minors and majors during the season. The Mariners, looking to make up for lost time, will have him throw approximately 30 innings in the AFL, and if he gets back to the power approach that made him one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, Walker should have an inside track on a rotation spot coming out of spring training.
